Excellence in air was founded in 1989 in a small shop on University Avenue in Provo , UT by Brent Merritt, who after working in the HVAC trade for other local businesses decided to live the American dream, by starting a small HVAC business that keeps the interests of local communities while providing a service like no one else, all the while building a legacy for his family to carry on. Excellence in airs focus as a new business was to provide affordable yet outstanding quality in the new construction and service market. Brent Merritt and Excellence in Air has always believed and committed to obtain as much education as possible in the field of HVAC. This is a requirement of not only the owner but all employees here at excellence in air. As the local economy changed so did Excellence in air, by expanding its work force and also its scope of work. The commercial division of Excellence in air was opened, ranging from tenant improvements to gas stations, hotels, strip malls, and restaurants. Along with growing our scope of work our company grew too, with a much larger customer base, our shop was ready to grow as well, so we packed up and moved to a shop 5 times the size on state street in Orem, UT, Where we continued to grow our business and customer base. Ranging from jobs in all corners of Utah, to Nevada, and Idaho, we then decided to go back to what made Excellence in air so great. Offering affordable, yet high quality HVAC products, and systems to its local community. After years of successful business and new relationships Excellence was again ready to grow, moving their location just off Center and Geneva RD. in Orem, where we now reside. Where we still offer and look forward to serving you with exceptional quality and affordable pricing in all aspects of HVAC. Thank you for your time and patronage.
